• Composition  : Verdun bit, 16 mm barrel in Blue Steel and 100% copper rings.  The Blue Steel  alloy which  covers  this  range  of  Jump’In bits  is composed of 54%  carbon  and 46%  manganese . Blue Steel bits oxidize  on  contact with  air  and  humidity . A thin layer  of   sweet-  tasting rust appears,   which  naturally stimulates  the  production  of  saliva . In      salivating  more, the  horse  makes more  contact  on its  bit . In this  oxidation process  the  color  will change to  grey/brown .
• Effect  : The Verdun rings allow good framing and offer a good alternative to needle bits.  The double-jointed barrel makes this mouthpiece more comfortable in the mouth by freeing up the discomfort zone at the level of the palate, moreover the rings located on the central joint promote the relaxation of the horse during work.
• Advice for use  : Suitable for all types of horses, this bit is very ergonomic. Its slightly thinner barrel size than a standard barrel will allow a little more finesse in what you are looking to achieve. The rings can allow a  horse to be more concentrated in the work and more with its bit.

Maintenance advice:  Rinse the bit thoroughly after each use to limit the deposit of residues and cause discomfort for your horse.
