Klock Werks patented Flare® Windshield for Harley-Davidson® FXRP, FXRT, FXRD Style Fairings, the ORIGINAL windshield of its kind, has surprised riders everywhere with its great looks and performance. This windshield is designed to enhance the body lines of these fairing while adding performance you can feel and is available in three sizes.

The innovative design features “hips” at the outer edge of the shield that re-route wind and air to add downforce to the front of the bike, improving stability at high speeds compared to riding with a stock windshield. The “flip” at the top of the Flare® is designed to kick the air up causing it to flow back as “clean” less turbulent air for the rider and passenger.

• Unmatched Durability: Windshields are made of Lexan® polycarbonate with FMR hard coating.
• Size Selection: Size matters! Too tall or too short, and a Flare® won’t manage air like it should. Check out our ‘Size Guide’ online to choose the right fit and remember: Klock Werks recommends a windshield size you can look over it, not through. Solid black color versions are opaque and may not be suitable for shorter riders as they cannot be seen through.
• Flare® Care: Use only gentle cleaners like Shine Werks or mild soapy water to protect the tint and coating. Harsh ammonia, alcohol, petroleum-based, aerosol, or solvent-based cleaners like Windex can strip wax and UV protection. If using dish soap, always follow up with a wax-based cleaner like Shine Werks to maintain performance.
• Fairing Variants:The Harley-Davidson FXRD and FXRT fairings are treated as the same since both include upper speaker pods. However, they are distinct from the FXRP fairing, which does not have upper speaker pods. Refer to the images for a visual comparison.
• 8” Flare: The 8” size is specifically designed to fit the FXRD and FXRT fairings, but will also fit the FXRP. From bottom center screw to top edge the windshield measures 8”. The vertical height is 6.75”.
• 9” Flare: The 9” size is specifically designed to fit FXRP fairings (without the upper speaker pods), and will NOT fit FXRD or FXRT fairings. From center screw to top edge the windshield measures 9”. The vertical height is 6.75”.
• 12” Flare: The 12” size is specifically designed to fit FXRD and FXRT fairings, but will also fit the FXRP. From bottom center screw to top edge the windshield measures 12”. The vertical height is 9.5”
